I had a mixed experience at Catone District Hotel. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the Vatican and various restaurants, making it super convenient for sightseeing. However, I encountered cleanliness issues in my room that detracted from my stay, and the breakfast options were quite limited. Overall, it's a decent place if you don't have high expectations about the accommodations.

While my room was spacious, I noticed it wasn't as clean as I hoped, with some areas not properly maintained. The air conditioning worked well, providing relief during the warm days.

The hotel's proximity to the Vatican was a highlight for me, as I could easily walk to many nearby sites. It was also close to a metro station, which was convenient for traveling.
Dining

The breakfast was quite basic, with only a few options like bread and pastries. I expected more variety, especially for a hotel stay.

The facilities were adequate; however, I was hoping for a more polished experience considering the location and price. Access to transportation was a plus.

My stay at Catone District Hotel was a mixed bag. The location is fantastic, just a hop away from the Vatican, which made sightseeing super convenient. However, the overall service and cleanliness left much to be desired. The breakfast wasn't anything special, and I found it disappointing given the hotel's potential.

Rooms
6.0
While my room was spacious and had a nice view into the courtyard, it was hard to ignore the noticeable dirt and dampness. Bed linens also had a bit of a smell to them, making it hard to fully enjoy my stay.
Service
5.0
The staff were generally friendly and helpful, especially at the reception. But I did have a bit of a hassle trying to get issues sorted out, and it felt like they were overwhelmed rather than proactive in addressing concerns.

The location is just stellar! It's so close to the Vatican and lots of restaurants, making it super easy to explore. I loved being able to walk to major sites without needing public transportation.
Dining

The breakfast could definitely use an upgrade. It was pretty limited and felt more like an afterthought, which was a bummer, especially when starting the day off right is so important.
Facilities

The hotel had decent facilities like air conditioning that worked well, but some areas, like cleanliness and room upkeep, really need improvement. I felt like they could do better here too.

I had a great time at Catone District Hotel! The location is a huge plus, being so close to the Vatican and tons of restaurants and shops. The room was clean and comfy, though it could get a bit warm for my liking, but the staff was super helpful in adjusting the air conditioning. I did find the breakfast a bit basic, but it did the job for my morning caffeine fix before heading out to explore Rome.

The location is just perfect! I could walk to the Vatican in about 10 minutes, and there are so many cafes and shops nearby to enjoy.
Dining

Breakfast was a bit limited, just some rolls and pastries, but it was sufficient for starting my day. I probably wouldn't pay extra for it, though.
Facilities

Overall, the facilities were adequate for a boutique hotel. They provided essential items like a kettle and safe, although I wouldn't say there were many extra amenities.

My stay at Catone District Hotel had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, allowing me to walk to major sites like the Vatican. However, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired and the breakfast was quite disappointing. Overall, if you're on a budget and just need a place to sleep, it might serve your purpose, but don't expect luxury.
